Replace 03:50
Stick your knife in my back Twist it deeper Pour salt in my wounds Say I never meant nothin' to you You said you've never felt this way... Ain't it funny how things change over night like that? And you hung me up to dry But I guess that's just karma, I guess that's just life And I wish I was a better person, But I don't think I deserve this. Had my heart in your hand, you threw it away I guess I wasn't worth that phone call, you just made me wait To find out that I'd been Replaced You've got a heart like big business You're Fucking cold and complacent. And you hung me up to dry But I guess that's just karma, I guess that's just life And I wish I was a better person, But I don't think I deserve this. Well you hung me up to dry Well you hung me up to dry And I wish I was a better person, But I don't think I deserve this.

Reflect 01:27
Can't find myself inside my head ... Lost ... Can't find myself inside my head And the apathy is breaking me And I am losing everything I love.
3.
Repeat 03:27
Feel free to release, I wanna know your thoughts of me The same thing always keeps me away, Fading more and more each day Consciousness doesn't feel the same anymore Consciousness doesn't feel the same. Do you still think of me? Or have we both grown numb? We're growing up to grow apart, fading out like the setting sun We're growing up to grow apart, We're fading out like the setting sun I'm walking a fine line between Love and Indifference You try to talk to me but I never seem to listen And I can't see your face through the sea of smoke that I create. Do you still think of me? Or have we both grown numb? We're growing up to grow apart, fading out like the setting sun We're growing up to grow apart, We're fading out like the setting sun Can't find myself in my own head, lost in a sea of remorse and regret. And the apathy is breaking me And I am losing everything I love Do you still think of me? Or have we both grown numb? We're growing up to grow apart, we're fading out like the setting sun We're growing up to grow apart, We're fading out like the setting sun Consciousness doesn't feel the same anymore Consciousness doesn't feel the same anymore.

about

This record is a 3-Track concept EP depicting the emotional suffering a person experiences when they've been abandoned by who they believe to be their one true love. Each song represents one of the three stages in this cycle.
Based on personal experiences.
Meant to be heard as 3 movements of 1 piece.
All songs share the same key.

"Replace" details the initial trauma upon realizing that you've been left for someone else.
Raw, unfiltered expression of rage, disarray, and shock.

"Reflect" is purely a song about thought.
This is the stage of self-isolation in which the mind races to put the pieces together, analyzing every memory like a film, to answer the simple question of "Why?". In this stage, at the lowest of lows, one can learn a lot about themselves, often coming out a scarred, but stronger, wiser person.

"Repeat" explains the final step in the cycle, the step that puts it into motion.
Time has passed, and you were ready to move on. You became close to another person, but even though they had fallen for you, no matter how hard you tried, it wasn't right. After your time of Reflection you became more careful, not allowing yourself to be enthralled by anyone that wasn't "perfect". This emotional gap has driven you to temptation, ultimately causing you to Replace this person, perpetuating the cycle through them, and so on.
